North Korea’s 2nd Nuclear Bomb May 26, 2009

There was a terrible news. North Korea’s nuclear bomb’s test was successful. North Korean made a 2nd nuclear bomb which is more powerful than the October 2006′s. It is one of the world powerful nuclear bomb.
This problem caused almost every country upset. This test caused South Korea and Japan an earthquake. It has more explosive power. This made a South Korea an emergency, a big one. There is another bad news, that China is supporting North Korea. I hope there will be no war; maybe this is going to be our world war3. There will be a little percentage that they will shoot the nuclear bomb to South Korea. It is really terrible!!! My opinion is that North Korea is showing off because they are proud of making nuclear bomb and wants to show to another country that they are powerful and strong. I am really shocked because Einstein made a Nuclear for the ‘peace’ but America, North Korea and etc are using it by making weapons and to use in a war. South Korea is really worrying about this big problem! I do not like a country that tries to have a war. It is my fact. I really don’t want the North Koreans to have a war. The bad thing about the nuclear bomb is that they are polluting the environments and natures. This nuclear bomb test effected the South Korea’s weather. It was dusty and there were bad viruses in the air. These airs can make people sick. Many people wore masks out side. My opinion is that North Korea is not nice. I will not like North Korea unless if they quit doing these bad things such as making a nuclear bomb and tries to have a war. I don’t especially like Kim Jung Il. It makes me very angry. He is very mean and selfish. I will never be like him when I grow up.

Posted by 15parkj in : Uncategorized , add a commentI am going back to Korea this summer to meet my grand parents, cousins and to study math, Korean and so on. I am going to stay near Seoul. We are going to have a lots of fun such as going into the swimming pool, catch dragon flies for fun and etc. I will maybe meet my old best Korean friend. We met last year. We also have to go to Daegu because my dad’s older brother’s big daughter will have a wedding cermony. There family lived in Saudi Arabia. I might also go to Busan to visit Yooya’s house for a week to play and have fun in the beach. In Korea I also need to practice my instrument because there will be a competition in August. I am coming back at August so that I am prepare for it. This place is was where I lived last year. Link
Ken’s Birthday party April 27, 2009
Posted by 15parkj in : Uncategorized , add a commentOn April 26th, I went to Ken’s bithday party. It was awesome. Atsu, Eric, William and I came to his birthday party. I got a free remote control car from Ken. It was brand new. Astu got a remote control submarine. William got a car, too but it was not as fast as mine. We played baseball at the park and we also played soccer right beside Marino’s field where you can practice soccer, but we had to pay about 1000 yen. It was better than I thought. We even ate delicious cake, pizza, chocolate and snacks. We could have drink coke any times you can. The birthday party place was nice too. We could even see the beautiful sea from the windows. We had a party in 28th floor. I think Ken’s birthday party was good and nice.

I think it is Ok.
What are the best/worst things about using blogs?
The best part was that we can type about something, what ever we want but the worst part was that we had to type and I am kind of slow at typing.
Do you like the idea of using your blog/website for other classes, not just English? What subjects and why?
Yes, because for example in math class, we can write some riddles and solving problems and we can publish it so that the people would look at the riddles and try to solve it.
What are your favourite websites that you use?

What would you like to be able to do use your blog/ website for? What ideas have you got?
I think the edublog would be better if they put some typing games and some stories that we could read for fun.
Do you think it is important to learn how to use things like blogs? Why? Why not?
Yes because we can get better ideas at looking at the comments and we can improve our English. Also we can even learn how to type fast.
‘Journey with Dei, Bei and Lira’ March 16, 2009
Posted by 15parkj in : Uncategorized , add a commentOne day, 11 years old confident Dei and shy Lira and 13 years old smart Bei were heading to London to meet their parents but the airplane was running out of fuel.. Children grabbed on to their parents but not Dei, Bei and Lira. The engine stopped. The airplane was going down. CRASH!!! BOOM! Oh no every body died except for Dei, Bei and Lira. They were on a strange island…
They were really hungry and thirsty so they searched around the island and they met incredibly small people. The adults were small too. They were only 50cm long. The men had really long hair and a big nose. The women had strangled hair and with their mouth were opened wide. Dei, Bei and Lira all screamed,
“AAAAAAAAAh”. The little people looked at them as if they saw a giant. They screamed too but weirdly, “OEOEOEOEO”
The small people were called ‘Nagumio’. Both the children and the Nagumio thought they were enemies. Nagumio’s language was different from other countries. Nagumio first spoke like this, “Ochotechopanekure”. Then the children answered, “What on earth are you talking about???” Then Nagumio replied, “Horarara?” They couldn’t communicate with each other. Nagumio were so smart that they learned English in three weeks. They gave the children fresh water and many foods.
The children thanked Nagumio people and asked if they knew how they could go back to London. Then the nagumio sighed that you have to go up the very high mountain and have to ask to the king, Chokonei. Chokonei could do everything he wanted. Nagumio exclaimed that there were many enemies living in the mountain and you had to get things what king wanted. Chokomei wanted one powerful sword, 15 gold apples and a magical potion. The problem was that they didn’t have a map to go up and they had no idea where the sword, 15 gold apples and a magical potion were.
When they saw a very high mountain, they realized that it would take more than a month. They couldn’t even see the top of the mountain. Five minutes later they remarked, “Good bye” to nagumio. Children didn’t want to leave them because they were like their best friends. They carried plenty of water and foods.
They climbed the steep and rugged hills. They cut them selves with many thorns. Everybody tiredly exclaimed, “Ouch”. They rested every thirty minutes. They were thirsty but they had to save water. They drank after four or five hours later. At night, there were many bats around and some wild animals. They had to build a fire so the animals wouldn’t come near them. They made a tent with many big leaves and slept. They though what nagumio had said, “There are many enemies in the mountain”.
On morning, they had to make weapons so they decided to make arrows and spears. It took thirty minutes to make them. After climbing 20 minutes, they saw a horrible creature with 3 eyes, 3 faces and 3 legs. So they immediately shot an arrow. It died and all the body became slimy and changed to water. It looked liked a magical potion. They were super excited and gave a high five.
Second they met a gigantic creature. That creature could step on them. Then they would be squashed. He had a powerful sword. It was that sword what the king wanted. They had to win that giant. They first threw the spears. He got little damages but still he was a live as the children shot an arrow then he fall down. They took that powerful sword and ran away.
Ten days later they met another creature that could fly, as a bird and it didn’t have any wings at all. The point was that he had 15 gold apples but the creature strong. It was so fast that they couldn’t hit even an arrow to it. The children were the one who got the damage but they didn’t give up for their goal. They only had one arrow and one spear. They have to beat that creature or else, they won’t have any chance to go back to London forever. Then Bei shot an arrow; luckily he had shot his heart. The children were super excited. That creature fall down and the children killed that creature with a spear by poking it.
Thirty-one days later they finally made to the castle. They were exhausted and they were proud of their selves too. They first gave them a magical potion, powerful sword and the 15 gold apples. Then the king, Chokomei said that what do you want? Then the children happily replied that they want to go back to London then the king said with shaking his face. Then the king started to say something. “You have to get a horse, a special type of horse with horn in it. He also said that he got stolen from someone.”.
They started to find the horse with a horn. Seven hours later they found a weird creature petted a special horse. That horse was what king wanted so the children said that I would kill you if you don’t give that to us. That creature shouted, “Stop acting stupid. It is mine…”. Then the children replied that it is king’s. The creature shocked by that reply so he was mad and attacked them by punching. He was really strong so they used the last weapon, the spear. He threw it to that creature’s one eye. The creature become blind and the children ran away with the horse.
The king was really surprised and really thanked to the children so the king decided to take them to London. Then he used a magic carpet to take them to London, in one second they were in the London. The magic carpet disappeared when they had arrived to London and happily they met their parents.
I really enjoyed writing this story and I prefer that is a funny story.
Greek Myth ‘The Golden Apple’ March 15, 2009
Posted by 15parkj in : Uncategorized , add a comment‘The Golden Apple’ is about king Midas and god of the vine Bacchus was talking about the wish and the king Midas was granting for the wish. He wished that if he touches something that object will turn in to gold. Then the god of the vine, Bacchus granted him the wish. Later, when he touched the twig, it turned into gold and soon as he turned twig turned into gold, he touched and turned many thing into gold. He was over happy and danced with his servants. After dancing, they wanted to have eat dinner but there was a bad news because as soon as he touched the food, it all turned into gold even the water and the gift from god will kill him…… He screamed for help to god of the vain Bacchus and he did. He didn’t want to have any gold and wasn’t jealous about anything he wanted.
I think this gives a lesson to people who wants more things than what they have.

Maybe many people will like your drawing. Go to this website to find more information and if you did, go to this website to find how to draw and find the steps to draw comic and there is another website for you. The first website is about drawing unicorn and the second website is to draw four heroes.
2. Speach bubble, thinking bubble and caption. First of all I will share about caption. Caption is like some kind of narration that explains what they are doing and the problem. Use this website find about it more. Second of all I will share about what speech bubble is. It is when character shows what they are saying and talking and thinking bubble is when the character shows what they are thinking. You will get some idea from the comic. If you make the bubble interestingly your audience will enjoy it. Click this website.
3.How to decide what parts of your story to focus on. When you want to draw comic with Greek myth. First of all you have to decide the characters. It is hard to draw characters such as Olympia gods so you have to keep practicing drawing over and over and do your best.
Then you have to get the main point from that story and the topic. When you are drawing comic, just mix 4 main parts; the speech ballon, thinking ballon, caption and drawing!!!! If you are done with it, make the another comic and do that over and over your friends will might enjoy it.

‘My Holiday’ January 8, 2009
Posted by 15parkj in : Uncategorized , 2 commentsIn my holiday, I went to ski near Mt. Fuji with someone who I know. They were pretty young and first one was in first grade and second one was kindergarten. This time was my first time. I thought it was going to be easy at the first time but it was hard and skis were heavy and I was having problem with standing so my dad had to help me first. I was practicing at the small hill and slid but it was boring when I got good at it. Then I slid on the big hill with no falling. Skinging was faster than the sleigh. It was going so good so far. I was helping grade 1 guy and my brother helped him to. It was fun when we rode the lift. I liked when I was in the top part and a younger girl cried in the lift because I bet she was really scary. After skiing we went to eat hamburger for lunch. It was ok but it was not favorite one. After this lunch we were planning to go hot-spring but it cancled and they all came to our house. We ate dinner at our school. When they were cooking beef we were playing game and sports.
On new year, I had to go to the church and I worshiped God at midnight but I was really exhausted and I am Christian. I hope this year will be better than 2008. I hope that I could survive from scary teacher. You guys know which teacher were I am talking about right?
I even watched movie call ‘WALL-E’. It was a really sad story. I liked the character call WALL-E and Eva because they were helping each other this movie was about friendship. WALL-E didn’t gave up being his friend call Eva. WALL-E was really dirty and Eva was really clean and the cleaning robot was really funny because his goal was to clean WALL-E and dirty stuff. I liked when Eva was fixing WALL-E. Eva was really fast. I hope I could fix something bronken fast like Eva someday.

The hardest part was that Mr. Campbell didn’t help us when we were having some kind of problems but I think we all did a really good job. I think it was a big group but we cooperate well and helped each other. For the poster I think we should have make font bigger and put more pictures about Roald Dahl.
